Yesterday was the first time I was approached and questioned by someone while taking a picture (the image to the right is the result). The photographer's legal guide is a great thing to look through to know that you have strong rights as a photographer. That should give you confidence to jump out and grab that prise winning photo (yeah right), but, obviously, you don't want to just tout your rights to anyone who questions you. I introduced myself, told the owner of the field how beautiful it was, and showed him the image I was trying to capture. He grunted about concern at someone being parked at his gate and carried on.Can't please everyone all the time, but a soft answer turns away wrath.
A decent one page legal guide for the photographer is legal guide.

You probably already know about Thomas Hawk, but, in case you don't, check him out.
